At a glance
| Question | Visualping |
|---|---|
| What it is | A service that checks web pages on a schedule and sends an alert when something on the page changes. |
| What it costs (checked 2026-10-19) | A free tier, Personal plans from $14 a month, Business plans from $140 a month, and a custom quote for its Solutions tier. |
| Who built it | WebMonitoring Technologies Inc., named in the footer of its own site. |
| Who it suits | Anyone who needs to know when a competitor price, a job post, a policy page or their own site changes. |
| Verdict | Easy to try because the free tier is real and the Business trial asks for no card. Pay only when the page count or check speed runs out. |
What Visualping is
Visualping watches pages for you. You give it a web address, choose how often it should look, and it compares each new copy with the previous one. When the page changes it sends an alert that includes a highlighted screenshot, and its pricing page says an AI summary tells you whether the change looks important.
The detection modes named on the pricing page are visual, text and element change. That matters in practice: a visual check suits a page layout you care about, a text check suits a policy or a price list, and an element check lets you watch one part of a long page instead of all of it.
Features worth knowing
- Every plan, including the free one, lists visual, text and element change detection plus AI change summaries and an important-or-not flag on each change.
- A REST API and an MCP server are listed on all plans, free included, though API calls draw on the plan's normal check quota.
- Actions let a check log in, click, type or run a script before it compares the page, and a Chrome extension can record those actions in your own browser.
- Email alerts, webhooks, Telegram and n8n come with every plan. SMS starts at Personal 5K, and Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Sheets are listed as Business features.
- Business plans add search and filtering, bulk import, advanced reports, labels, one year of data retention in place of the shorter default, and team invitations.
Who is behind it
The footer of the Visualping site names WebMonitoring Technologies Inc. as the company behind the product and as the owner of the Visualping trademark. The company's careers page describes a remote-first team. We read nothing about its founders, funding or customer count that we would repeat here.

Prices as printed on the pricing page on 2026-10-19. Business tiers between 20K and 50K checks follow the same step of $70 a month. The page says checks do not roll over from one month to the next, and that business workspaces each carry their own plan and cost.
Alternatives
Other tools that watch web pages for changes include Distill, ChangeTower, Wachete and Hexowatch. We list names only and have not compared them.
Who it fits
The free tier is enough to follow five pages once a day, which covers a competitor pricing page, a job board and a regulation page. If you want to check more often than hourly or watch more than five pages, the Personal tiers raise both limits in clear steps.
The Business tiers are for teams. They add several users, reports and the Slack, Teams and Sheets alerts, and the number of pages jumps to 200 at the first Business step. A solo founder rarely needs that much on day one.
Is it worth it
For a SaaS founder the useful question is how many pages you really need to watch. Five pages at hourly checks cost nothing. Twenty pages at five minute checks cost $35 a month on the monthly price. Compare that with the hour a week it would take to look by hand.
The thing to check before you pay is whether your pages need a login or a script, because those are the checks most likely to be noisy. Run the free tier on your real pages for a week and see how many alerts are useful.
How it relates to a card-backed trial
Visualping's pricing page says a Business trial runs 14 days with no card on file, and that nothing is ever charged automatically because there is no card. That is the opposite design to a card-backed trial, where the buyer gives a card up front and the first charge happens on its own. The no-card route lowers the barrier to starting, while a card-backed trial, as TrialValid sets it up in Product, holds the plan price at sign-up and charges at the end. Which one wins depends on how much you value the number of starts against the share that stay. Use the trial conversion calculator with your own numbers to compare.
