What Systeme.io is

Systeme.io sells one account that replaces several tools. On the pricing page its tiers are built around contacts, sales funnels and courses, and every tier includes unlimited email sends, unlimited sub-accounts and an affiliate program.

It is a hosted service, so there is nothing to install. You build funnel pages, connect Stripe or PayPal to take payments, and run email and automation rules from the same dashboard. The pricing page also lists evergreen webinars, a booking calendar, communities, blogs and physical product handling, with the amount allowed depending on the plan.

Features worth knowing

  • Every plan lists unlimited email sends, unlimited file storage, unlimited students and an affiliate program you can run yourself.
  • The vendor states there are no transaction fees on its side when you accept payments with Stripe or PayPal. The processors still charge their own rates, which you can estimate with our Stripe fee calculator.
  • Sub-accounts are unlimited on every plan, and each one gets the same limits as the main account at no extra cost, according to the pricing page.
  • The page lists order bumps, one click upsells, deadline funnels and A/B tests, and it offers a free migration for people who move from another tool.
  • Support is stated as available seven days a week with an average first response under two hours.

Who is behind it

The terms and conditions page applies to what it calls the network of sites of ITACWT Limited, and that is the company name we can tie to Systeme.io from its own pages. It says card payments go through Stripe, Inc. The site has no separate about page that we could read, so we rely on that terms page and stop there.

Tools often compared with it include ClickFunnels, Kajabi, Kit, Mailchimp, Teachable and Podia. We list names only.

Who it fits

If you sell a course, a membership or a digital product and you want the funnel, the checkout and the follow up emails in one place, the free plan is a fair way to build the first version. Two thousand contacts and three funnels cover many first launches.

The tiers are driven by contact counts. Once your list passes 5,000 you move to $47 a month, and past 10,000 to $97. A business with a large list but few funnels may pay more than it expects, so look at your contact count before anything else.

Is it worth it

The vendor's own pricing FAQ compares a stack of separate tools to its price, and that comparison is an advertisement. A better test is to list the tools you pay for today, add up their monthly bills, and check whether each feature you rely on exists on the plan you would need.

Be careful with the free plan if you expect strong sales. The terms page limits free accounts to USD 10,000 of lifetime sales revenue, so a product that sells well will push you onto a paid plan.

How it relates to a card-backed trial

Systeme.io lets you start on a free plan with no card, which is a lower barrier than a trial and also means no payment method is on file when you decide to upgrade. For a seller using it to run trials of their own product, the question is when the card is collected. A card taken at sign-up lets the first charge happen without a second checkout, which is the design described in Product. A free plan keeps starts high and leaves the upgrade to chance.
