What lemlist is

lemlist is built for outbound: finding people who might buy and reaching them. The pricing page groups the product into four jobs. You find prospects through a lead database and email and phone finders, you automate outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp and SMS, you protect inbox delivery across your mailboxes and domains, and you use AI agents for research and personalisation.

It is a tool for the top of a sales funnel. Its place in a trial funnel is before sign-up: it helps get the right people to look at your offer. What they find when they arrive is a separate question.

Features worth knowing

  • A lead database listed at 650M+ contacts, with an email finder and verifier and a phone number finder.
  • Multichannel sequences across email and LinkedIn, plus an in-app dialer and SMS; a WhatsApp option is listed as an add-on.
  • A deliverability hub with monitoring and alerts, for teams running several mailboxes and domains.
  • AI features including a research agent called lemAgent, intent signal agents and message personalisation.
  • A unified inbox, CRM integrations, an API, a CLI and an MCP server.
  • Data credits that are charged only for successful results and roll over while the subscription stays active.

Who is behind it

The company page is a careers page, and it is the closest thing to an about page that we could read: lemlist's own about path answers not found. It says the company did not raise funding, built in public and invested in personal branding.

It lists five values, among them shipping fast, delivering a standout experience, working with ownership instead of supervision, writing its own rules and being open about results. We read no ownership or financial detail beyond that, and make no further claim.

Pricing as the vendor states it

lemlist shows two engagement plans, an Enterprise tier and two data add-ons. The monthly, quarterly and yearly toggle changes the figures; those below are the monthly and yearly prices as listed on 19 Oct 2026.

Plan or add-onBilled monthlyBilled yearlyWhat the page lists
Email$69$55Unlimited users and senders, 50,000 emails a month, finders, lead database, AI agents, MCP and CLI, deliverability hub
Multichannel$109$87Email plan features plus 5 senders per user, unlimited emails and messages, LinkedIn and SMS automation, call dialer
EnterpriseCustomCustomMultichannel features plus custom roles, a dedicated account manager, custom terms, SSO and priority support; handled through sales
Lead data enrichment$20$162,000 credits a month (400 emails or 100 phones)
Buying intent signals$29$21100 signals a month

The page offers 10% off for quarterly billing and 20% off for yearly. On the listed prices the yearly saving is 20.3% on Email, 20.2% on Multichannel and 27.6% on intent signals (our arithmetic).

The FAQ says pricing is based on the number of users. If the $87 Multichannel price is per user, a team of three on yearly billing would pay $261 a month, and $277 with one lead data add-on. The Email plan lists unlimited users, so $55 stays flat as the team grows, within its email volume. Check the user selector on the page before you budget.

The 14-day free trial includes the Multichannel features except in-app calls, plus 200 free credits. A banner on the page the day we read it advertised an extended 30-day trial through a referral, so the offer you see may differ.

Alternatives

Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead and Reply for outbound email; a CRM with its own sequences if you only need light outreach.

Who lemlist fits

  • A founder doing early sales who wants prospect data and outreach in one place.
  • A small sales team that contacts people by email and LinkedIn and wants one inbox for replies.
  • A company that runs many mailboxes and cares about inbox delivery monitoring.
  • Less suited to a team that only wants a lead list, since the data sits behind credits, or to one that never does outbound.

Is it worth it

The plan structure is easy to read: pick Email for volume with unlimited users, or Multichannel when LinkedIn, calls and SMS matter. The lead data is billed separately in credits, which keeps the base price low and makes the add-on the number to estimate.

Before you commit, count the users and estimate your monthly lookups against the 2,000 credits in the data add-on. The page says credits are charged only for successful results and roll over while you stay subscribed, which limits waste. The ROI calculator can show whether a monthly tool cost clears a target return.

lemlist and a card-backed trial

lemlist sits upstream of a trial. It helps you find and contact the people you want in a trial, and its own trial runs 14 days as described on its page.

Once those people reach your offer, the trial design takes over. TrialValid holds the plan price on the buyer's card at sign-up and starts the trial only if the hold succeeds, in your own Stripe account. An outbound tool and a card-backed trial cover different steps of the same path.
