What Conversion Factory is

Conversion Factory sells services, not software. Its pages describe strategy, product marketing, conversion work, web design and development, branding, search work and paid campaigns for software companies, delivered by a team of marketers, designers and developers.

What stands out is the public price list. The pricing page groups offers into fixed scope projects, ongoing marketing help, outcome based retainers and partnership structures, and prints a price for almost every one. A short questionnaire at the top recommends three packages.

Features worth knowing

  • A Product Marketing Audit is a 99 point teardown delivered in a week for $1,000, which the page presents as the easiest first step.
  • Fixed scope offers include a brand refresh in two to three weeks, a VIP Day, an AEO sprint and a website rebuild, each with a printed price.
  • Ongoing offers include a fractional CMO retainer, an embedded team called Team in a Box and a six month Frontload engagement that declines in price.
  • The about page says it works without contracts and that clients can pause or cancel a monthly subscription if the value is not there.
  • A partnership page lists a case study arrangement at a reduced rate and a white label offer for agencies and fractional marketers.

Who is behind it

The about page ends with a letter from three founders and names them as Corey Haines, Zach Stevens and Nick Loudon, with a line on each person's background. It says the company has worked with more than 100 startups. We repeat only what the page states about the company and do not endorse any of its case studies.

Alternatives

Other marketing and design agencies for SaaS include Animalz, Foundation, Omniscient and Webstacks. We list names only and have not compared them.

Who it fits

A growth stage SaaS team with a product that works but a site that does not convert is the audience the pages describe. The audit is a low risk way to get a prioritised list.

A solo founder with a small budget is likely to find the retainers heavy. At $3,000 a month the lightest retainer costs $36,000 a year.

Is it worth it

Whether an agency is worth it depends on whether you can turn its work into revenue. Use our ROI calculator with your own trial numbers to see what extra paying customers a page rebuild would need to deliver to cover $25,000 or more.

The audit at $1,000 is the sensible first purchase, because it tells you what to fix before you commit to a retainer. Compare it with what a freelancer or a self-serve checklist would cost.

How it relates to a card-backed trial

An agency has no free trial in the software sense. Its pricing page uses an audit as the way in, and one outcome based offer is application based. That is useful context for a SaaS seller: a paid first step filters for serious buyers, which is the same logic as taking a card at sign-up in Product. A card-backed trial asks for a card early and charges later, while an agency audit asks for $1,000 up front.
