TrustMRR lists software startups with revenue read from a payment provider. Listing starts free, marketplace plans from $29, and a sale costs 3% plus escrow.

> TrialValid has no affiliate, referral or other commercial relationship with TrustMRR, and nobody paid for this review. Every price and statement below was read from TrustMRR's own pages on 19 Oct 2026.

| At a glance | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| What it is | A marketplace and database of software startups where revenue is pulled from a connected payment provider, with offers, documents and escrow handled in one deal workspace. |
| What it costs (checked 19 Oct 2026) | Adding a startup to the revenue database is free. Marketplace listings run $29, $199 or $499 once. A sale carries a 3% platform fee plus Escrow.com fees, split between buyer and seller. |
| Who built it, per its own company page | A solo founder, who says the site is independently owned and operated with no venture capital funding. |
| Who it suits | Founders thinking about selling a small SaaS, AI product or mobile app, and buyers who want financial evidence on the page before they talk. |
| Verdict | A clear fee schedule and a low cost to list. Treat the verified revenue as a head start and still run your own diligence, as the site itself says. |

## What TrustMRR is

TrustMRR is two things on one site. The first is a database of startup revenue: a founder connects a payment provider and the revenue shown comes from that provider instead of a screenshot. The second is a marketplace on top, where those same startups can be put up for sale at a price the seller chooses.

The pitch on its about page is that a polished website and a convincing revenue screenshot take minutes to fake, while a connected payment account is harder to dress up. Buyers browse by category, compare revenue, growth, asking price and multiple, then message the founder.

## Features worth knowing

- Revenue read from a connected provider. The pages name Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Paddle, RevenueCat and others, connected with a read-only or scoped key.
- Sellers set their own asking price, and the site says no minimum monthly revenue is needed to list.
- A multiple on every listing, defined on the FAQ as the asking price divided by the last 30 days of revenue times 12. A $48,000 ask on $2,000 of monthly revenue is a 2.0x multiple.
- A deal workspace with a mutual NDA, a letter of intent and an asset purchase agreement, then Escrow.com for payment.
- Alerts for new listings, and an API and an MCP server for reading startup data.

## Who is behind it

The about page says TrustMRR is built by a solo founder who has built and sold startups before and who uses the marketplace himself. It states that the business is independently owned and operated, with no venture capital funding.

It also gives a snapshot dated 24 September 2026: 175 acquisitions in the preceding 365 days and an average of 23 days from listing to acquisition. We report those as the page states them and have not checked them.

## Pricing as the vendor states it

TrustMRR has no separate pricing page; fees sit on its fees page and listing prices on its FAQ. We read both on 19 Oct 2026. Listing options are one-time payments unless noted.

| Item | Price as stated | What it covers |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Revenue database listing | Free | Adding a startup to the verified revenue database |
| Marketplace listing: Starter | $29 | A basic listing on the marketplace |
| Marketplace listing: Growth | $199 | 5x visibility, a custom card colour and a newsletter feature |
| Marketplace listing: Scale | $499 | 20x visibility, newsletter feature, pinned placement for 30 days and buyer matching |
| Dofollow authority link add-on | $19 | Optional one-time upgrade |
| AI visibility boost add-on | $79 | Optional one-time upgrade |
| Side-panel sponsor spot | From $399 for 7 days | Optional sponsorship |
| Buyer alerts | $199 a year | Filter-based or AI alerts for new listings |
| Closing fee | 3% of the sale | Split equally between buyer and seller, plus Escrow.com fees |

Escrow.com's fee falls as the deal grows: 2.60% for $0 to $5,000, 2.40% for $5,001 to $50,000, 1.90% for $50,001 to $200,000, 1.50% for $200,001 to $500,000. Adding TrustMRR's 3% gives the all-in closing cost.

On a $20,000 sale that is $600.00 to TrustMRR and $480.00 to escrow, $1,080.00 in all (5.4%), or $540.00 for each side. On a $150,000 sale it is $7,350.00 (4.9%), or $3,675.00 each. These are our calculations from the listed rates.

## Alternatives

Acquire.com, Flippa, Empire Flippers and Microns, all four named on TrustMRR's own about page, plus selling privately.

## Who TrustMRR fits

- A founder with a small SaaS, AI or mobile product who wants buyers to see recorded revenue without a long back-and-forth.
- A buyer looking for operating software businesses with financial evidence already attached.
- A founder who is not selling yet but wants to see what comparable products ask, by revenue and multiple.
- Not a fit if your business does not run through a supported payment provider, since the listing needs that connection.

## Is it worth it

The cost of trying it is low: the revenue database is free and the lowest marketplace plan is $29 once, with no monthly listing bill. The closing fee is the real cost, and the schedule is published in full, so you can work out your own number before listing.

The verification helps but does not finish the job. The about page says the platform puts financial verification up front and that buyers still review code, expenses, ownership and deal terms. Read the listing as the first step of diligence, not the last.

## TrustMRR and a card-backed trial

TrustMRR is not a trial product, but it is a place where trial economics show up. A buyer looking at a subscription business will ask how many people who start a trial go on to pay, and how recurring revenue holds from month to month.

If you run trials on Stripe, a card on file before the trial starts changes who enters it. [TrialValid](https://trialvalid.com/product.md) holds the plan price at sign-up and starts the trial only if the hold succeeds. ## Questions

### Is TrustMRR free to use?

Adding a startup to the verified revenue database is free. Selling on the marketplace starts at a $29 one-time listing, and a completed sale carries a 3% platform fee plus Escrow.com fees.

### How does TrustMRR verify revenue?

The founder connects a supported payment provider with a read-only or scoped key, and the revenue shown comes from that provider. The site separates this provider data from descriptions and seller-reported information.

### Who pays the closing fees?

Buyer and seller split both TrustMRR's 3% fee and the Escrow.com fee equally, and both are paid at closing through escrow.
